| THE
WINSLOW TOWNSHIP WATCHDOG GROUP (WTWG), is a nonpartisan, nonpolitical,
grassroots committee of concerned citizens from The Township of Winslow
in Camden County, New Jersey. WTWG was formed in 2007 by township
community members Mr. & Mrs. Morris S. Corsey, in response to
concerns and issues related to the Winslow Township School District and
Winslow Township Governing body. WTWG has successfully strived to
provide support and improved communications for the betterment of this
community at-large for all citizens including our youth, parents and
elders. WTWG aims to provide a network of information for solutions to
issues, garnering assistance from the local, state and national level.
Our goals include an approach to bring together our township's people
from different walks of life for "unity in our community" based on
common goals and positive initiatives!
MISSION STATEMENT
To provide a network designed to bridge communication
gaps between the Township of Winslow's schools, governing body, police
department and our community members such as parents, youth, church
members, tax-paying citizens (with or without children currently
attending our school district), and business owners.
To provide an easily assessable, dynamic
technology-based communication tool that is always available 24/7,
allowing both crucial and non-crucial concerns, issues, questions,
comments and information to be exchanged and escalated if required, to
our schools, governing body, police department and our community
members.
To enable increased participation of members from our
community who would like to be more involved by having their voice heard
through our communication network at a time and place that will be
available at their fingertips 24/7.
To build a base of concerned people, mobilizing these
community members to act, and developing leadership from and
relationships among the people involved.
